Why is 2021 an important year for ETC

We’ve just had our concession agreement extended by another 32 years, so are busy fundraising to support our ambitious expansion plans. We are growing our teak operations by at least 3,000 ha over the next 8 years with the first 200 ha phase being planted this year. We will also be enlarging our vanilla project to 30 ha based on encouraging results from the trial farm. We will partner with a further 200 outgrowers in our “Excelling in Excelsa” coffee venture.

As always, our community engagement activities will continue at pace through our Social Development Fund with the construction of a new medical ward and primary school.
