Research and Development

Despite optimum ​growing conditions in South Sudan, limited work has been done in the research and development of new crops, genetics and growing protocols. We have been running a wide variety of trials for more than 3 years to identify the most appropriate crops for the company and our outgrowers - products that will open up new markets and generate much-needed revenue for the country. As well as several varieties of coffee and vanilla, we have tested macadamia nuts, caster (for oil), groundnuts, sesame and cow peas. There is only so much one private sector company can do alone so we’re looking for partners to help us on this journey. Please reach out to us if you can help with this important work.
